Events - Talk - Sculpture - Interests Outside of Surgery

British Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon Conference, Kings Place, London 28th - 30th June 2023

I am pleased to have been invited to speak at the BAOMS Annual National Conference as part of a short series of invited speakers to talk on areas outside of their routine professional practice in surgery. This makes up part of an imaginative conference with the timely theme of Health and Well-Being both within and without of professional medical practice. Following the talk there will be some short videos available here which will support some aspects of the talk.

Previous Events - Art and Surgery Talk

Wolverhampton Art Gallery Saturday 2nd February 11.50am - 12.50pm 2019 Georgian Room

I am very pleased to say I have been invited to give a talk as part of the Wolverhampton Literature Festival on "Art and Surgery."

The festival is in its 3rd year and has an exciting and broad range of events, speakers, workshops and performances. You can get more detail and download a brochure at www.wolvesliteraturefestival.co.uk

The talk is on personal reflections on the relationship and common threads between my practice of Surgery and my Art and the broader relationship between Art and Surgery in general. My latest public comission (Childhood) will be exhibited at the Gallery throughout the festival and through March ahead of its final installation

The talk is free entry and open to all. Please come along and I hope you enjoy the talk :)

Aanya and Aryan

This is a portrait commission of brother and sister Aanya and Aryan. Aanya and Aryan are very different but both charming. The challenge of sculpting children is highly fulfiling and the portraits where a great pleasure to complete.
